New Everlast Surfacing Enhances Athletes' Performance

Everlast and ECORE Commercial Flooring (ECF) are proud to introduce Performance, a premier sports surfacing ideal for multi-purpose areas, indoor tracks, gymnasiums, aerobic centers, and court surfaces. Using ECORE's patent-pending itstru technology, Performance is created by fusion-bonding a 3 millimeter (mm) ECORE recycled rubber wear layer to an ECORE recycled rubber underlayment. The underlayment is available in five and 12 mm thicknesses, depending upon the application.

Everlast is a part of ECF, a flooring solution provider offering innovative products for the commercial market. Both are members of the ECORE family, a manufacturer where recycling meets original thinking.

Bringing high performance, superior durability, and a bold design to any facility, Everlast Performance's wear layer is available in five standard color patterns: tan, red, green, blue, and gray. This surface's saturated color concentration results in reduced wear visibility and lane color variation, while hiding dirt. All five color patterns contain 90-percent color and 10-percent black recycled rubber.

"The name of this product says it all," said Bo Barber, vice president of sales and marketing for ECORE. "It's called performance, because that's what this product does; it improves a player's performance. This attribute combined with Performance's anti fatigue, ergonomic, and force reduction properties make it the ideal surfacing for any facility, because it enables athletes to perform better, safer, and longer with less chance or injury."

Everlast Performance has been tested to show excellent force reduction and superior ball rebound. The surfacing is also spike resistant for high-use areas, such as competitive indoor tracks.
